How does ownership perform?
The complexities between the different types of ownership are becoming much more evident especially in the 21st century and more specifically in the Bronx.
Because of all the agents and constituents involved in claiming one's ownership, conventional ways of orthographic mapping are no longer valid in terms of accurately conveying the invisible and immeasurable social dynamics embedded within different groups of people.
Illustrative narration -- a technique foreign to the profession of urban design -- can be considered as one of the fundamental methods not only to understand how ownership performs in a city but also to communicate to a larger audience.
